I have my travel plans!

Hello!

My week has been great!  I received my travel plans on Friday!  So wild!  It's getting REALLY real!  I report to the travel office at 4:20am and then my flight leaves at 9ish. I fly to GA first and then have to jet to my connecting flight in a total of 33 minutes.  I hope I make it.  I've never connected before.  There are 17 people in my travel group, but I'm the only Spanish speaker that I know of.

In my final week here at the MTC, I'm focusing on my language acquisition and exact obedience.  I know that through exact obedience, I will receive miracles, not just blessings. It has been a struggle, especially when others don't choose to follow every expectation.  One of the things a lot of us struggle with is food in the classroom.  I found myself eating a piece of licorice without thinking.  One of the Hermanas looked at me with a surprised face.  I was confused by her reaction because I hadn't realized what I was doing.  She told me she was surprised because I've been so good about following the rule.  I felt awful! It was terrible to realize that I slipped into disobedience without a thought. With my departure on my mind, I'm most apprehensive about the language and meeting my trainer.  I hope we get along, and I hope she's patient with me.  My goal this week is to remember to begin and end my studies with prayer.  I have experienced powerful and personal inspiration when I rely on Heavenly Father and Christ.  I know that the Lord knows of my struggles, so if I only let Him help me, I can accomplish so much more.
I'm sorry I can't email more!  I colored my hair all by myself today, and it took way longer than I thought.  I also got my hair cut at the salon, so my P-day has been busier than usual. On top of that, we had to move from our residence to a new residence hall.  Originally, we had been assigned to be in 17M, but it was infested with bats a few days before I arrived at the MTC.  Now that it's batless, we were reassigned to where we were supposed to be originally.

This time next week I'll be in Kentucky!  Thank you for all of the sweet letters while I've been here.

Love you!
